Just relaxing after busy beach day and a cruise with some Jalops the day before yesterday. Driving that Z all day on curvy roads tired me out!

Fucking long. I’ve just f lown from Mexico to Australia via LA and Honolulu and now I’m jet lagged and have been awake since 4am.

Alternatively: very short, since I crossed the date line in there somewhere and I think I was only in “Sunday” for 7 or 8 hours.

I’m a machinist. I work 3 12 hour shifts then have 4 days off.

I have a raging cold, we spent 2 hours at a laundromat this morning because our dryer needs to be fixed, it's hot as balls out, and I just spent 20 minutes wandering around a Bath and Body Works. Despite all of this I'm having a pretty good day.

Yes, although not a whole lot with my current employer as the programming is all done by engineers here and a lot of our parts are inspected by CMM.

Got up before 5 to go to the rink when it can still be pretty empty, spent 3+ hours on the ice living my second childhood (including playing goalie for some Mite-aged kids, without goalie gear or having ever really played in goal before) playing some pick-up and practicing my not-quite-draft-worthy  skills, which covers my exercise for the day. Drove the old car to the rink and then around town putting maybe 50 miles on it total, much of it sweaty as it is quite warm here too, and the old car becomes an oven in even modestly warm weather. Went down to the pub in the next town with a bunch of mates, went for a bicycle ride away from the pub for 25 km...then rode back again. Had lunch at said pub.

Then checked the local emu farm. Bought some honey and some emu jerky. Watched some freshly hatched emus flop around inside the incubator. Played with their dog. Drove home. Reassembled a shelf in our cellar...and the day was done.

After waking up with the guy-friend, we went out to brunch together and then spent a couple hours at the beach. Fantastic day.

We skipped the Pride parade today , but we went to PrideFest (Capitol Hill, Seattle) yesterday, so there’s that.

We live in a condo, and there’s nowhere to hang clothes out to dry.
