EDIT: Repost for the late shift with some forbidden fruit.

Before.

General grime, always a let down for black wheels.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Not too bad for a little distance away, except the wheels stand out.

Kinja'd!!!

It’s used as a daily driver to work and to ferry a couple of terriers about. Given a light vacuum and sprayed with CarPro So2Pure a photocatalyst odour destroyer.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Little scratch either side of the button left of the infotainment screen.

Kinja'd!!!

Mats taken out, nothing nasty had worked it’s way underneath.

After.

Kinja'd!!!

All finished, scratches around the front corners removed. Roof touched in with some of the alloy wheel paint. Goodness how an inch and a half of paint was removed from the guttering along the roof.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! !!!CAPTION ERROR: MAY BE MULTI-LINE OR CONTAIN LINK!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Wheel paint toched in around the lower left hand edge and on a couple of the spokes, will build up a little more paint in due course, then flatten it down and polish.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

You can’t quite tell but the scratch on the dashboard plastic has been removed.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Engine given a quite spruce up.

I think they are better than the Fiat 500.

It’s got a smaller boot than a Fiat 500 but more legroom in the back , but then as I said to the owner of the Adam, ‘you can always put stuff on the back seat if the boot is too small, but you can’t put a person in the boot if you run out of legroom’.

There is even an Adam for the U.S. market. Lol.

A lifted Vauxhall Adam, the Vauxhall Adam Rocks.

It’s so happy.

Also, those are not foglights on the lower corners, those are the indicators.

It took me by surprise.

That looks like a fun car - I don’t have a sense of what the street cred of Vauxhall is. I love my MINIs but I wish there was a less expensive option for that mix of small size, decent driving dynamics and nice interior. I kinda like 500s but only from the outside; I find the interior awful.

Vauxhall is like Ford, and like many GM and Ford areas around the world, though granted Vauxhall is no longer a GM marque, it’s a sort of main stay for cars for most people.

The Adam comes in below the Vauxhall Corsa, which is getting larger with the new model out.

Current,

Base model,

Kinja'd!!!

VXR performance model,

Kinja'd!!!

which is deleting the three door and getting larger as I said.

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

So while the Adam isn’t greatly popular, it may become so as the cars above it, inch larger from gen to gen.

The Adam comes in about the same size as the Fiat 500, but what the 500 has in bootspace it loses in rear seat space, so while the Adam has a smaller bootspace it can better seat four people.

Though the Adam starts (£15,700) (there is now only one engine, 1.2 and one spec which you option up) where the regular 500 prices peak out (£12,165 -£15,565) .
