as of tomorow it will be illegal to be fucking around on your phone whilst cycling in the netherlands (well.. it will be illegal to hold your phone whilst cycling)

I haven’t been anywhere else in the Netherlands except for Amsterdam and given the unique mix of cars/trams/bikes/pedestrians I’m surprised this isn’t a rule already.
It’s obviously worse to have drivers on their phones but bikes can still end up hurting others, too.
Speaking of bikes, Dutch TT starts soon =)

I broke the law today. But it’s okay because I’m in Australia...
. ..where it is also illegal. Since bicycles are considered to be vehicular traffic.
