Clip of the day yesterday from my short yet long commute:

I was going to moan something something time for progressive penalties, but an old G55 might not necessarily be insanely expensive today, especially when wearing what looked like a BHPH lot plate frame, but still just what one expects around here.  This guy was also driving fecklessly before this move, varying his speed and unable to keep a constant position in his lane.

The stoplights in this area seemed to be messed up yesterday, giving shorter green cycles than usual (the next light let maybe 10 cars through), so I doubt it helped him much.

That’s another one to grind my gears - signal at the last second in a turn only lane, don’t signal to change lanes into the turn only lane.

But as we move to a second world socio-economic spectrum, maybe driving manners from that world are also to be expected.

3, which around here is perfectly normal. Maybe 2 of them being late model E is more remarkable. There’s also a ML/GLE at far right.

I’ve seen many a 4 way stop locally where 3 or 4 of the stopped cars are MBs.

That’s funny. Is the Merc dealer way closer than others or is it jus t the ca r to go to? The dealers here all within spitting distance of each other so it’s common to be at a stoplight with only Merc, BMWs, Audis, and Lexus.

They are all just a thing here, Bellevue has a rep for being a little showy.

Lexus dealer is seen at left, MB and Audi are within a mile of this spot, BMW maybe 2-3 miles away.

To be fair, even skilled drivers have a hard time keeping constant lane position in G's.

It’s a truck for sure. I drove a 2016 model, I liked the sense of occasion, but the driving dynamics itself weren’t so hot .
