The don’t offer Sport Tour ing Hatch’s with the six speed manual transmiss ion in the US but they do in Canada. $18,000 for a year old car is mighty tempting. If I bought it, what is the chance I could register it in the US ?
I suppose I could form a corporation in Canada and license it there......

The 2nd option is your only hope.

Buy it and put it in my name. Then go nuts

What do you think of parking tickets!

Hmmm. As long as they are incurred in a state I'll never go to

It might actually be possible but I'm not sure. I think the law is "significantly similar" so as long as engine trans and body match what we got here it might be possible. Where you would start or whether it would be worth jumping through the hoops I don't know.

Yes, that is my understanding too. Unfortunately though you have to buy it and try it to find out. At the same time, a vin number is a vin number so who knows.
