Finally got to drive one on the street. AMA?
Edit: Here is some of the photos I took today of the car.

What am I looking at? Interior looks way too standard to be an NSX, but I can’t think of any other bucket-list worthy modern Acuras ....

What is it like to drive?! Does it have Super tor que early in the rev range?
How does the exhaust sound?

Going from the carbon fiber and relative height to surrounding vehicles, it has to be the NSX. It does look very standard otherwise.

I noticed that, but my 2015 Accord has * carbon fiber* accents so....
Acura does a really nice red leather interior though, especially with that gorgeous blue paint. Not often I drool over a crossover.

If you were blindfolded and didn’t see the outside of the car before getting in it, and all interior badging were removed, would you be able to tell the difference between this and a loaded Accord?

It’s an NSX, and while I agree looks-wise like it doesn’t really stand out much, the touch points feel properly nice, and the control are easy and comfortable to use. Worth noting, the metal around the shifter and sides of touchscreen is real metal, and part of a large structure of the dashboard. It’s not just some tacked on piece.

I will preface this with that fact that my trip was quite short, but I did get to give it the beans in a couple straight sections. The suspension is remarkable comfortable, even in sport plus (didn’t put it into track, not really any point for my purposes today). And yes, the low end shove is massive and instant. I didn’t get to do launch control so I can’t comment on that, but if it’s more violent than simply flooring it, it would be absolutely savage. Exhaust sounds pretty good, It’s got a nice mix of intake throatiness plus bassy tone. Doesn’t drone too much, and in quiet mode it’s quite pleasant if you need a break from the noise.

Sure. Not safely, but you could totally fit a baby in there.

Yep. The seats, visibility, and steering wheel all are nicer. Th e materials and leather are also really nice, much nicer than the standard H onda affair.

If I had a lot more money, I’d buy an NSX over a Lambo, Ferrari, or McL aren. I think it is the only one that you could daily without much sacrifice, and without going broke maintaining it.

Is an NSX a sandwich? Sorry that’s all I got. 10/10 I’d love to drive an NSX.

It really does have that daily usability. I will readily admit that the other exotics are just that ( exotic), but this is still pretty special when you’re near it, and it is still capable of putting a massive grin on your face.

That sounds like a perfect car. It’s too bad this is under appreciated.

We have 2 facing each other, so technically yes, it’s a sandwich.
