Amazon: UPS says that someone needs to be home to sign for it.

Me: takes day off from work.

UPS: drops both packages off at my door at 1530 EST, doesn’t bother to knock/ring doorbell.

Me: fuuuuuck I could have not wasted a day off.

At least Gary is happy and hopefully I’m happy in a day or two with this new mattress.

Granted, I know that pain, but is a day not at work truly wasted? You could get a few hours head start on assembly...

Oh yeah, sorry.  I learned that a while ago.  If it’s from Amazon, you don’t need to be there.  Not sure why UPS says you do.  Half my packages, if not all, say that.

True but with me anxiety, I lose focus. I spent the day catching up on YouTube, American Dad, and Amazon Prime instead of working and getting paid to do so.

Also, I couldn’t do lawn work because it’s been raining off and on since late Friday night in Indianapolis.

I do. My last 2 televisions required my presence. I understood with the first one being a 3d plasma unit, but my last one was a small TCL unit that I missed the first time by mere minutes.

Well, I guess I never ordered a tv from amazon, but i’ve ordered random crap like dog harnesses where UPS said I needed to sign.  I once had a huge table come from amazon, lol, just left in a big ol’ box on my porch.

I have two of these mattresses right now. Not sure which one you got, but I've been pretty damn happy with ours. The price is certainly right and they're comfier than pretty much any innerspring I've ever slept on.

Haven’t seen that one before, but it seems to get good reviews. Good luck with it. The only thing I did n’t care for with our mattresses is that they’re pretty heavy to move around before they were unboxed.  I imagine that king size was a bear to move.

Oh yeah. Lugging 110+lbs up the stairs and rolling it out was a workout since I'm alone and my cats are looking at me like "well, hurry up so I can lay on it ya bum!".
