6 year unlimited mileage warranty? I need to get me a new Porsche. Just need to get “new Porsche” funds first.

Yeah that warranty is nuts

Yes.
ETA: on a side note, I thought only 911's get the 5 cluster treatment?

Jeeebus. Still a lot of repairs and wiggle room between that and my current German wagon sled. Some day when I have a tax person and other money issues.

So, what? Some rich dude bought it for his wife and she didn’t like it?

I’m honestly more impressed that VW is doing 7y
/72k on mainstream cars. The sample size there (and people who neglect their cars) is much, much higher.

Oh good now I can afford one.

Punched by the store to hit numbers i assume

There's probably some stipulation I there about regular oil changes, etc.

Panamera’s have always had it.

Never understood that. They own it already, don’t they? So the owner, as an individual, buys it to make some target, and then sells it “on consignment” through the dealership? I’m sure he made himself a hell of a deal on it... That current price is probably very close to the dealer’s actual cost.

They always do...but it’s just interesting to see that they’re outclassing the luxury brands on warranty as part of their reputation “turnaround”
And it’s actual B2B, not just powertrain.

It's not like anyone is putting 100k/yr on a Porsche

For the right person, a possibly great deal. Personally, I’d hate to walk into my garage and see that thing staring back at me. Lots of other cars I’d rather have for that price.

When it’s delivered to the dealer from the factory the dealer owns it. Either they financed it (floor plan) or they paid cash. Either way the manufacturer will get paid for that “delivery”. Often once a dealer “sells” a car to the consumer there are back end incentives from the manufacturer to the dealer for meeting sales targets.
In this case (idk the whole legality/morality of doing it but I’ve heard it done) the dealer likely sold it to themselves as a loaner/courtesy shuttle because they were 1 vehicle away from a major sales target. So by selling it to themselves the manufacturer gave them a healthy kick back and they still have a car they can sell as “used”.
Or the thing is a POS lemon that needed to be bought back with only 32 miles on the clock.

No one is dumb enough to

Its not a lemon; was definitely just punched by the store for a kick back and floored as a used unit that they’re still gonna take a bath on.

Does this also help them get the latest and greatest 911 { Insert Random letters and numbers here}?

Makes you wonder what their kick back is if they could stand to “lose” $30k in order to get it.

Has to be good, considering Porsche south Shore already gets great inventory...

This isn’t a deal it’s above normal market price given the high MSRP along with current Sport Turismo sales and that it is punched even with the warranty .

The Panamera Sport Turismo Wagon is my dream daily. That thing will walk away from most cars on the road and still 4 transport adults.
