You should plan a trip to somewhere that does do it. I haven’t gone every year, but I try to make it a point to go now. There were so many people there today, it made me happy.
If you'd told me 20 years ago that I'd not only NOT be alone but legally married, I'd never have believed you. I really can't believe how much progress we've made in that time.

It’s funny, I live equidistant to both Boston and Providence, both of which have huge parades, but because I’m on an island going means somehow clearing a weekend and staying in the city overnight.

My partner was in the parade with King Soopers. Once they passed, I walked down to meet him by the capitol building so I didn’t stay for the whole parade. Still, we had a great time!

We had a great time. It's the first time I ever went for the parade. I can't believe how many people were there.
