I’m trying to do more work on my MR2 this summer, and am starting with the little things.

Many many armor-all wipes were sacrificed in this endeavor. I swear it hadn’t been cleaned since the previous owner added tint.

Next up, this big piece of felt will be carefully ripped out to see how much of the stock interior is left. It’s stapled to some poorly aligned plastic trim pieces.

Might clean the engine bay this week too.

Gotta start somewhere. I need to step up my paint c are regimen, my vehicles would be so much better off.

They’re special because they happened to be in my garage and easy to find at the time of the repair, hahaha.

They work pretty well but dry out pretty fast in the face of 28 years of dirt.

Detailing a car can be pretty fun, if the window cleaning is anything to go by. The satisfaction of “all that hard work and irritation paid off as clear windows,” or something like that.

How have your cars been doing? Any more fun drives lately?

I have more of “they can’t tell how bad the paint is if it’s moving” philosophy :P

Cars are all good, nothing too fancy just a few standard drives into the foothills. Debating whether to bring the Lancia to the annual Italian car show or not.
