My car is reasonably clean on the inside, but I haven’t washed it in a month or more. The paints is shit so I really don’t care at this point.

Everytime I see a base one like mine, I peek through the window. All automatics (therefore have AC) so far

It wasn’t too long ago that you could buy a new car in the mountain west and PNW without AC. I think it became standard around the mid to late 1990's. Our 1990 Isuzu does not have AC, but it doesn’t have a lot of things like intermittent wipers and power windows/locks, and no speed control.
