This Q60S was in the garage today. You can’t see well in this pic, but the red is really vibrant. I’d be happy to own it, and I don’t like red cars. The interior red is also neat, and the entire inside looks posh. People like to shit on Infiniti , but I think this car looks like it belongs in a luxury performance line up.

You’re right. It needs to be on the column.

I had one of these as a rental (the base awd version) and drove from Denver to LA after new years this year. I have never driven a car I wanted to like more, but ultimately hated. It looks really, really good, but that is about it. Honestly, I think an ecoboost mustang or v6 camaro (both with their respective performance and nice interior packages) would be better in every single way (except the looks on the camero). The car was a serious let down.

Totally honest, but I need a translation...
Is this the G37 coupe? Those are really good cars in every generation.

I wonder if it’s a rental.
It may not look bad, just don’t turn on the ICE screen/interior electronics, more Nissan old tech.

I’m sorry to hear that. I can only hope the S version would be better.

It’s not the holdover G37 coupe that they initially renamed to the Q60. This is the successor car.

I’d be really surprised if this is a rental in S spec.

Good point. I’ve seen the coupes in fleets (Hertz esp), not sure about the S.

Hopefully! They had everything close to being right, but not actually executed. The steering was heavy, but numb. The suspension was firm, but it didn’t handle particularly well. Twin turbo V6 (with bad fuel economy to match), but only 300HP.
The major two omissions for me though, were heated seats and paddle shifters. I get it is a base model, but anything luxury these days should have heated seats! The gearbox was actually great so it was a bummer you had to use the plastic stick in manual mode.
Definitely drive one when you are looking at your next vehicle! Hopefully your opinion is better than mine. (full disclosure, I was running a fever and slightly hungover from NYE on a 16 hour trip. Not the most ideal circumstances to review a car LOL)

That red is quite stunning in person! I like the Q60 design for the most part. The back end has a little awkwardness I don’t care for but overall it has a cool, striking look. The interior sucks though and feels more Maxima than luxury which is sad.

I remember hearing their initial stab at drive by wire was not up to snuff. On the other hand, I read the Eau Rouge was pretty great. Maybe they got it together by now. I always planned to test one, but never got around to it.

That’s why I specifically looked inside. The materials all look great in this car, and the two tone with the red definitely does not scream Nissan to me. I don’t know if that’s a function of trim level or not.
I like the tail lights. They’re different and flow nicely with the lines of the car. But those things are very subjective. That’s why there are so many choices on the market.

Great design let down by terrible steering, shitty dual screen infotainment and lack of feel all around. I have driven the Q50 versions and it’s the same underneath.
Also, the clueless folks at Infiniti have yet to build this one.

That two tone does look really good. It might depend on the trim as you said , I’ve just never been blown away by the Q50/60 interiors.
I know we’re more function over form here at Oppo, but these do look great with a nice drop and some wheels (or the S model wheels with Spacers)

As a 5'4 adult , I tried to sit behind myself in one at the auto show.
There was no headroom in the rear seat - my head had to rest against the rear glass, and I couldn’t sit straight.
