That 993 is .

As an aside, I got to sit in and start one up not too long ago. Love at first sight. Silver Turbo S with like 30k miles.

911 prices are just stupid. Its already 160k and is it a 160k driving experience? I think manual V12 would be a better buy.

But the person buying it already has 10 other cars #TaxTheRich

I always thought Br ing- a- Trailer was called that because you would need a trailer to get your project car home. Now it seems like its Bring- a- Trailer because they are selling trailer queens the buyer wouldn’ t want to drive to keep the miles off

Haha I mean its a 300 -400k car all day . As far as driving experiences, I can’t say as I’ve not had the pleasure. I sat in one with the engine running. I have however been able to drive a bunch of sweet cars by being a shithead valet in my teens and early 20's. I much prefer the 8cyl cars with the engine behind the seats when compared with a 12 up front. To most of those cars I’d choose their closest 911 competitor because they are that good.

Also, touche with the Aston...that is neat and new enough not to murder your wallet...? Wishful thinking?

With the Ferrari’s, if you put any kind of real mileage on them you’ll catch up to the 993 turbo S (in dollars) quickly.

BaT used to really mean that! When I first caught wind of the site there were only a few cars and quite a few were not running/not road legal. You’re right though, its now flooded with “car hoarder” type cars more than “car enthusiast” type cars. They’ve also just rolled out “premier listings”. It will be a brand agnostic “EAG” before too long. However there are still good deals to be had on popular cheaper cars. I had to wait it out and buy when I wasn’t really ready, but that is how I got my 02.

That yellow 550 does things for me. I would have that over a 911 every time. Plus, the 550 is a pretty stout car, so maintenance shouldn’t be too bad. I think reliability on the P cars is just as overblown as the unreliability of modern(ish) F cars.

$300k is a lot of money for a Porsche, I dont care what old men with a lot of money say.

I caught on BaT somewhere in the middle of the former and the latter.  I still check it maybe once a week to remind myself I’ll never have an air cooled 911.
