as I’ve said before, if I ever win the Powerball, I am going to the next Mecum or Barrett-Jackson auction. There, I will bid on whatever numbers-matching muscle car likely to fetch near 7 figures (probably some form of Hemi ‘cuda convertible or Boss 429 Mustang ) that has spent the last 30 years going from one rich guy’s climate controlled storage to another’s.

After winning it, I will look back with glee at all of those Boomers dropping from heart attacks as I drive away in the goddamn car .

People do this shit. They’re everywhere, and I don’t understand it. Just because it’s a Type R or an RS or whatever, you think it’s worth the down payment on a house? For an old Honda that they made by the thousands?

People even seem to think their rusted base RSX with 100k is worth $8k. I had to work to find a decent one for my sister that wasn’t inflated.

Here’s the listing. I’ve seen it in person and it is immaculate . Everything is OEM and it looks like it could be sitting in a showroom in 1998.

I would never pay that for one of these, but also he has a lot more money than me. He sold his 2011 997 because he never drove it and when he did, he never got to really wring it out. He bought this to drive around with his son and relive some nostalgia.
