For some reason my phone made this look
more metallic than it actually was. Anyway,
it’s not a color I’d ever go for personally
, but on the other hand
,
it actually looked pretty good in person. This particular
shade of purple does a strangely
good job of balancing out the overwrought body lines and red/black accents here IMO.

Blacked out door handles/taillights look stupid as well as lowering it

It’s ok. I’ll hate it enough for both of us.

I disagree. The color combo and stance look great. It's everything else that looks terrible.

There’s like ~ 3 inches of wheel well sticking out past the wheel itself, it looks stupid. The black doorhandles remind me of the black plastic ones found on base model cars. The smoked part of the taillights look tacky as well. Though I do agree that the Type R alone stock does look ridiculous; however, these mods did not help one bit.

I hate it.
I like crazy colors and stance but the sunken in wheels and overdone bodywork (being factory doesn't make it better) makes it look like the owners tried to get it in fast and furious but didn’t make the cut.

That’s the problem. Factory tuning and overstyling means that anyone who wants to mod has to go to extremes to stand out. I started saying that (and getting frustrated) as soon as 17"+ wheels started becoming standard equipment in the early 2000s. It just makes modding too expensive with very little benefit.
OTOH, turnkey racecars have never been more accessible.

I love it. If I could remove the rear wing it would be perfect.

I like it. I would get something like this for myself... especially since it’s the hatchback version.

Kudos to them for picking something other than gray, black, white, or silver.

Good, it won’t throw rock chips at the car behind it
Who cares, it’s just a Civic
I usually hate smoked taillights too, but at least these are still visible.

It looks tacky and ugly. And “just a Civic” that only costs $35k +markups and however much they paid to make it uglier? Yeah, I'll pass.

There's a saying for people who would pay that much over sticker for a Civic: A fool and his money are soon parted.

Looks a bit like a cartoon, Photoshop, or Forza shot but I’m pretty ok with that colour
