Day 2 had us drive from Charlotte to Martinsville via back roads. They took us out past the Richard Petty Museum, which was closed on Sunday, and then back to the west. All in all we drove for about 5 hours. Lots of folks along the roads waving. The little kids dig the Mini.

Yes yes yes. Do want. I had a 77 maxi van when I first started driving, loved that thing. This is one of those vehicles that I’ve told my wife if I find a nice one that’s relatively cheap, I’m buying it.
