2001 F250 XLT extended cab, V10, manual 5 speed transmission, gold, 185k miles. Awesome truck, I loved driving it. Selling it because I bought a newer half-ton truck and don’t need the 3/4 ton anymore. Clean notarized title.

I also have an old topper that is shown in the last picture. Happy to send that with it for an additional $100.

Good:
- Engine runs great, the truck is super powerful and comfortable to ride in, the V10 combined with the granny gear will literally pull a house off of its foundation.
- Fuel pump, starter, brakes replaced in the last two years.
- K&N cold air intake
- Aftermarket LED cab lights
- Camper package (upgraded rear leaf springs)
- Aftermarket bluetooth stereo
- 4x4 works great

Bad:
- Should probably replace tires in the next year
- Has some scratches in the paint
- Cruise control doesn’t work

I was talking with the company man one time about his truck, it was a V10 F250. He mentioned that he got the V10 over the diesel one because he said that diesel would freeze in the winter in North Dakota .

I want a 5 speed v10, but in a mustang, not an F250.

Well, it will freeze without running either #1 fuel blend, the old school way of adding Kerosene to a #2 mix (which may be an emissions no go on newer trucks, IIRC), or running an anti-gel additive with each fill up. Back in my diesel truck owning days, I ran an additive year round in my 7.3 IDI truck (to prolong the life of a very expensive injector pump that was never designed to survive the lack of inherent lubricity of modern ultra-low surfer fuel) which also prevented any problems, and I periodically added it as needed in my later 7.3 powerstroke. It almost never got cold enough in Albuquerque for it to be an issue, but skiing weekends were another story. I once had that truck start clogging the fuel filter with gelled fuel coming down a mountain after sitting in near zero degree temperatures all day at 10,000ft in elevation, so I starting running an additive for skiing trips.

and to think if this had the 7.3 Diesel hed be able to tack a 1 on the front of that price and nobody would bat an eye
