I see what you did there. Also, having seen one of those Project 8 cars in person... gib now.

Lol.
In fairness the current model has grown on me quite a bit. It's a handsome car. It's a strong car.

I need a lil widebody sedan with a stick shift and a V8. Nobody makes one though. Would daily this XE, maybe even get an e-cigarette to complete the look.

Was the current Charger ever offered with a stick?
Hey, manual SS’s are cheap, right?

Cheapest widebody sedan with a manual is the F80 BMW M3. Maybe an Audi R S4 or something.

I like them! They’re distinctive and I don’t think they’re ugly. Without them it’s just a sporty sedan with a kit. I welcome a bit of flair

I would just like to point out that for this money you could have a Lister XJS with similar horsepower, interior space and tackiness of appearance, 50% more cylinders, 100% more super chargers, and WAY bigger flares....

The XE has is one of the most beautiful sedans ever made, IMO . That WRX concept pales in comparison.

No, but with the 8-speed auto, a stick is a waste.
I love manuals, but holy hell that 8-speed is good!

It is very good, but having also driven a Challenger 6.4L with the 6 speed, man is it fun!

The current Charger was never offered with a manual, no. The previous generation (‘06-’10 according to Wikipedia) had a 3 pedal option but when they redesigned the floorpan for the current gen, they didn’t leave enough space in the trans tunnel for a manual box. They didn’t want to redo it because that would mean redoing crash tests as well. With the Challenger they were mindful of keeping a manual option (and I’m not actually sure if it’s been redone like the Charger yet).

Its an SVR project so I'm sure if you threw money at them they would gladly build you one with a manual.

I drove a HC Challenger 6-speed manual back to back with the 8-speed auto, it was almost a chore to drive the manual. The auto was so much more enjoyable in that car.
I would bet the 6-speed would be just as fun in lower power levels like the RTs though.

I can see that, haven’t driven a HC manual, only the autos and they are perfect.
