Last night I dreamed I was standing outside a car dealer, counseling all the people going inside to avoid anything with an internal combustion engine, since they were going to be obsolete in 3 years. I had this 3-ring binder with all kinds of charts and graphs showing the efficiency and cost of electric energy storage and motors, and the projected maintenance costs vs. number of moving parts, etc. I also had “inside information” that all the major manufacturers were on board with lobbying to make combustion engines illegal, and not even able to be grandfathered, so that people would be forced to buy new vehicles. Truly a nightmare.
