I h opped on over to the local craigslist, to click “ cars+trucks” , type “custom car” and see how many people know what they have...

Before I could even type...A swapped Volvo 1800 and it’s orange!

I like it? If it were mine I’d lose the sidepipes and wire wheels plus  see if there was any way for the stock hood to clear the engine but the basic goodness of the Volvo still shines through.

Great pics on that ad.  Whole front subframe including steering was swapped in as none of that is factory.  Hoods on those hinge forward.  Pretty much where the radiator is now, so it looks like the whole thing is removable, hence the hood pins.

Yea I noticed that after I posted. Either it’s the beginning of a scam, or someone is really having a hard time getting rid of that car. Or both.

Looks like there are several other listings for the car:

Both show Texas, probably just having a really hard time selling the car, or it’s a scam.
