I’ve never had a single problem with CIS... Well, except that time I created a MASSIVE fireball that  li t my Cabriolet, my car trailer and the parking lot on fire...

Yeah, ABA swap is a good idea.

Where were you like six years ago. I gave away a structurally sound MKII GLI, it still had the Recaros and BBS wheels. When I first got it I blew up the motor. I then built a high compression replacement and blew up the transmission on the second half throttle pull. It sat at my house for about 3 years in that state.

Man i had one of those. Gray on black. Loved the seats. It was bought by a good friend with a blown motor. He swapped the motor for the one from the mk1 GTI I gave his sister when the sister and i broke up. He replaced it with something else then sold it to me. So i got my motor back lol.

It was good for a few years and i sold it to a very vw focused enthusiast for $900 with an odd fuel problem . Wish I still had pix of it.
