It’s been over a year!! already since I’ve bought the mini and I’ve never done any paint correction on it, t oday I changed that.
For reference I started with chemicals v34 compound on the hood with a orange pad and worked up to the v38 with a black pad. The rest of the car I only did the v36 on orange and v38 on a white pad just to save time. It took me about the same amount of time to do the rest of the car than it took me to just do the hood lol.
I must say even though I already kinda knew the outcome I’m still quite chuffed at just how much depth the red really has to it.

Looks fantastic.
Very nice. It’s a great colour to work with and comes up very well.
