Ad sucks. Had a look without the owner. $1700, 260K odometer-working kilometers.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Not yellow, cream
. Almost no rust. Great condition rarer dark brown interior. Driver’s clot
h seat great. No map pockets. Aftermarket stereo hanging. 3 cracks across the dash. Moby CD on the back seat.
Broken corner markers and 2 blown headlights.
Never washed.
Chipped windshield
No emergency brake.
Not for me but no fault of the car or price.

5 speed? Maybe I’m being pedantic but I thought these were all 4-speed with a switch- controlled overdrive.

Actually Volvo used a true 5 speed box (M47) and the M46 with the 4speed+electronic OverDrive

Hmmm. I test drove that pale blue auto 240 with only 190k on it a few days ago. Almost bought it, it was a really nice one. This one has been tempting me, even though I massively prefer the flathood 242s over these. This one needs quite a bit, but it’s cheap and not rusty, and manual....man it really doesn’t look like it’s been taken care of though.

It is rough and dried out. Looks like it would need a lot of TLC and time. At the same time it looks like it’s never been driven hard. No dents to speak of either. If I was seriously interested I’d offer $13 00 or $ 1400 .
Worth a look for sure. The craigslist map is accurate if you want to swing by.
