High, but not very high expectations going in. No knowledge of the Director’s previous work or a firm idea of the plot.
Huge fan of all the cast except this guy Robert Pattinson. Never seen him.
All I had to walk out with was the song over the closing credits. Beautiful.
Turns out it’s Batman with Tindersticks.
Some days later it sinks in. He can act too. Good movie.

Fun fact: many years ago Claire Denis directed a film titled Keep It For Yourself for Nissan as part of the Figaro’s debut. I’ve spent years trying to track down a copy of it and its companion films.
