I’m looking to rent something fun for a day while I’m in Denver since it would be a bit of buzzkill driving all the scenic, great roads in (most likely) a minivan. To Turo we go! I found this..and well I think I just have to rent it. Fun, check. Manual, check. Price? $69?!

Giggity, this can’t be correct, there’s tons of clapped out WRX’s & ST’s on Turo with a higher daily rate! I don’t think I can pass this opportunity up, but also suspicious it’s too good to be true. Stay tuned!

Now prepare for whining - it’s sooooooooo unfair. My local Turo hardly has anything fun and anything remotely fun is priced into the stratosphere. You want a Ghibli? $250/day. Charger Scat Pack? $250/day. Granturismo? $1k/day. RCF? $309/day.

Bitch on, I know it all to well brotha! The most interesting and somewhat reasonably priced cars in my local area are Tesl a Model 3's and they’re still more expensive than this! Regular ass Corvettes are listed anywhere from $400-600/day. Crazy!

I was originally looking at a M235i Auto for $55 a day but then saw this.

I’ve rented from Turo-targeted fleets. The experience has been good every time. The cars are usually cleaner than those belonging to the more private owners.

Not this specific guy, but people that run Turo like a business offering multiple cars . One of them was from Denver though! B ut he had a few Subarus and commuter cars, nothing like a Hellcat.

Thanks, good to know! I could see it, sometimes you see interesting cars but with no trips or review. I get you have to start somewhere, but I’d rather rent from someone experienced, especially as a first time user.

I wonder the same thing, I even made a post about it a while back. The guy I rented from in Phoenix had Golf Rs, BMWs, and even a 65 Mustang! There’s a guy local to me that makes a ton of money off his auto C7.

I was pretty happy with the price. The owner was a woman in her 20's who used Turo as her main source of income. She also had an Abarth, ND Miata and BRZ, and with the way she priced things every single car was on the road every day, according to her.
