I got "spotted" in traffic today and it was weird

Or at least I think I was. Girl (?) behind me rolled up in a newer black Mazda 3 grabbed her phone and took a picture. Then she started filming? The only way I know this is because she had her flash on the whole time.

It was... remarkably creepy. I’ve been “spotted” before, but never filmed and never an extended encounter like that. Seriously she was behind me for at least a mile.

Oh. Civic. I was in the Civic. [Insert joke about laying down a smoke screen]

Nah car spotted I guess is what I meant. Someone took a picture of my car while in traffic today. The fact that I was driving it was mostly irrelevant. Didn’t really even make it go much faster.

It happens to me a lot because people tend to like the cars I buy. The C30, dune buggy, Civic, and Alfa seem to get it the most.

U sually people will give me a thumbs up or something when they see me taking a picture. I did once have a lady think I was trying to steal from her Mustang though.... I mean, I WAS standing right next to it and looking through the windows. I was just curious what it looked like with a complete interior since mine was missing a lot of pieces.

Somebody (in the passenger seat) was filming me riding my scooter on one of the many far flung back highways we were riding on the Gambler 500-Illinois last year. It was weird, but I smiled and waved and they waved back. To be fair, seeing a huge guy wearing a bright yellow raincost riding a 125cc scooter on a 55mph highway is pretty weird.

tbh... i think most people dont mind a pic being taken of their car

but this guy did... so i apolegized and didnt take one

(and wouldnt have tried to if the guy hadnt tinted his windows so dark i couldnt see him in there)
