Back home. Arrived all tired and stankerous, so I headed straight for the shower and will have a beer shortly. The Miata did its job competently, or at least did what I asked of it.
The “job site.” She needed a good cleaning inside and out, but unfortunately she won’t get launched this season, and the new job doesn’t leave much free time, so I’m putting her up for sale.
This guy wasn't so lucky.

I’ve found that strapping stuff to my roll bar is by far the most secure way of tru cking things around with my miata. Sure it negates the ability to put up the top but it's not like I'm gonna drive with that up anyways.

Indeed, a roll bar adds a bit of usability beyond its
intended purpose. My previous Miata had a roll bar, which helped me carry a desk from the store to my apartment. I had to drive very slowly, but then I only had to drive a mile.

I tell you what. I’ll trade you a whole case of the beer of your choice for that boat.

I'll trade it for an Isuzu Impulse, how about that?

Well if you’re going to do truck things in your sports car, maybe I should do sports car things in my truck!
