Did another 5-600 KM on the daytona. Hit up some local twisties I havent been to in a while.
Havent fixxed the leak yet, though the seals showed up yesterday so I CAN do that now. Assuming it IS the countershaft seal.
Also need to adress the vibration in the front end. I have a feeling its a slightly out of round wheel OR a out of true brake disk. A slight dragging noise as the wheel rotates seems to point to the latter. Oh well. Sunday project.
Today its raining hard all day, so it stays home and I caged it work.

Try re-balancing your front wheel. Then follow this exactly when you re-install :

wheel has dynamic balancing beads in it. so thats not the issue.

Personally not a fan of those..... Especially with how simple it is to balance a wheel. R e-mounting the wheel properly & cleaning up the brakes should be quick & easy though .

eh. I prefer to have a totally clean wheel un-marred by wheel weights. they have worked great on the street and on track for me, so eh

You’re s’posed to use regular wheel weights, and tape them before going on track.
Then leave the taped wheel weights & worn down rubber on the bike to flex on the weenies that have neither. It’s like the inverse of chicken strips.

wheel weights or beads.
I dont need to flex by looking I go to the track. I just go. :D

If it gets worse under braking, probably a warped disc. If ita dragging, you need to rebuild the calipers.

thought I replied to you
it gues worse under braking, and worse when i lean right.
I got a dial gauge and checked runout, it was +- 3 thousanths.

3 thousands isnt bad. Shit i warped a set of race discs at l ast year a quarter of an inch.
Take the discs off and mount them to the other side of the wheel. If it starts doing that when you lean left instead, you know ita the discs. If not ita probably the wheel or tire.
Have the wheel rebalanced and tire remounted.
