There are plenty of cars on that list, but the MR2 was one of the first Japanese cars I fell truly in love with. Ferrari styling, Toyota heart? What is not to love? Naturally I was a new driver at the time in the early 2000's and there was no way for me to make it happen.

I am so fortunate the car community is as awesome as they are. To check this one off is a big deal to me. Almost 20 years of low key loving the car, now... I know I wasn’t wrong to love it!

What do you guys think of the SW20 MR2's?

Towards the end of the review I had the hang of them. It just won’t be any fun during a panic stop. Your teeth would be in the steering wheel no doubt.

I hope so, too... or the next step... a Lotus Evora. I might fit in a SW20, but probably not an AW11 or ZZW-30, but I might actually fit more comfortably in the Evora...

W ith the 2GR V6, it is kind of an extension of MR 2+0 or MR2+(2*.5)… I wouldn’t really call the rear seats seats…

The front end styling is finally coming into it’s own with the 430 .... and the body lines are nicely sophisticated.
