Now comes a month of paperwork BS before I get to hand over a check for more than any 3 cars I have ever bought, so that I can pay yet another mortgage.
The massive garage and huge lot are going to be nice though.
Now I need to finish all the work on my current house even faster so I can sell it and not have to float two mortgages for months.

Rhode Island. It is about 6 minutes from where I live, and about 20 minutes from where my partner currently lives.

Thanks. The first floor was clearly one a store, and it is alone in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so I’m going to write the historical society in town and see if I an find out what business was once here.

Beautiful house, lots of New England charm on the outside...what’s the inside like? Anything particularly cool and oldschool?
My wife’s family lives outside of Boston (Wayland) and way up the coast in Maine. We can’t afford Boston (and too much of a hassle/crowded) and Maine is the opposite...so the Providence area is on our shortlist for if/when we decide we want to move closer to family and leave the West coast. Good to know there’s an oppo chapter out that way!

Second floor is a mostly original 192 0s apartment, which largly means hardwood floors and a terribly laid out kitchen.
First floor was a store that was partially renovated into a 1 bedroom apartment. It is a bit bland but i have ideas for improving it depending on what i find when i start digging into it.
