What the Hell should a Hyundai look like?

Honestly, I have no idea. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ... and I just don’t have any clue what a Hyundai should look like.

At first I was thinking something that related to the Pony, then I tried it in an elevated quarter view, and I just have no idea what a Hyundai’s face should be. I HATE Hyundai’s goopy lines, melted grille, pretty much everything about how they look.

So I’m pretty lost, here. If anyone has some good Hyundai suggestions... feel free. I got nothin.

To add to this, giant gaping headlights and tail lights need to die.

Since the advent of the automobile, the lamp sizes have become smaller and smaller, but the actual light clusters have grown to devour entire three quarters on each side of the car.

Hyundai needs to follow Aston’s ethos, seen in the new Vantage. The l ight sizes do not compete with the wheel sizes at all. And the Vantage still looks good? Shocking, right! ? /s

SO VERY AGREED.

I still think the profile on the top left has promise, but the hood/headlight/grille (? should it even have one? I don’t think so)/design language at Hyundai is just kinda... nothing.

I think their current design language is silver connecting the headlights and if it has a grill it is a hexagon.

Make the little opening a hexagon and run a small silver line along the headlight crease to the top of the hexagon.

I apologize for this for ruining your car with a snipping tool and a shaky mouse.

I don’t think even Hyundai knows what Hyundai should look like. They keep changing everything up with no worry for any signature feature.

I kinda like that really. It means they can feel free to reinvent their cars every generation  without design baggage. I like the new Sonata, maybe not as much as other designs, but I like it.

Meanwhile KIA just keeps hitting it out of the park with fantastic design language (although I think they’ve slightly over designed the current Optima compared to its pre-facelift predecessor)
