What’s German about it? Is it over-engineered and yells at you no matter the question?

I thinks it's German in the same sense that French toast is french -- meaning probably not likely at all.

I haven’t had pancakes in forever... it’ll probably still be a while before I have them again.
So far, I’ve only had some cold brew coffee and some grapes. I also just realized that it’s 2PM, so I’ll have a sirloin steak soon with some asparagus.

Simple, just load up your RAM with trash , then quit and start an app various times; the more times the better.
When it already feels laggy, just turn on and off the wifi: it will cause a bootloop guaranteed.

I think it’s one in the same. Growing up my mom called them ,”Dutch Baby Pancakes,” but other households I would visit would call them German pancakes...
It’s melted butter , flower, milk, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, all baked.

And the French horn isn’t French, it’s German, and there is nothing English about the English horn, which actually French.

I think they are similar. I have seen the German type ripped up before plating.

I use this one but I put blend most of the butter with the eggs before adding other ingredients to give the final baked good better texture. Once blended I let it sit at least 20 minutes so the flour can fully absorb the liquid (it is still very liquid) and all the large air bubbles disappear . I use a 12 inch cast iron pan so I increase the recipe by about 1/4. I then preheat it in the oven for 5 or so mins, pull it out and add only a tsp of butter plus tsp canola or peanut oil before pouring the batter (trying to keep cholesterol down),
I think this is similar to a Yorkshire pudding but on a larger scale
