New forks are ON!

Kinja'd!!!

Shiney and chrome!

Frame damage was limited to the speedometer mount being ripped off, got that fixed, then sawzalled off everything that wasn’t specifically the speedometer mount.

New low mount clip ons are on the way, need a few bits and pieces still but I found out today that the front rim is for sure bent, so I’ll need a new one of those. I’ve also picked out a color for the tank and rear fairings, and once I get the handlebars and rim in, It should be mostly rideable!

As for me, Doc said no surgery, no physical therapy, just time to heal. I’ve been able to walk around without too much pain for a while now, but evidently I tore my hip abductor, and that is a painful sumbitch when it gets moved wrong.

Same! I'm ready to get back in the gym, but I'll have to work pretty hard to get back to where I was.

Everything going back on the bike is getting painted today, gotta order a rim and a few other things, but I’m thinking I’m gonna wait on it for a bit and double check to ensure I got the right one.
