But my favorite is also not the last and seemingly most popular Supra. I like the even older one best of all.
I assume it is not a very “Hot-Take” to say that I think the Volk TE-37s are a very attractive wheel with a timeless design.
Thank you, and I hope you have enjoyed my first post on Oppositelock.

I always loved the MK3 myself. That setup just looks perfect.

But dude, the mkiv will destroy all with overnight parts from Japan. Also the US engine in those is garbage.

TE-37 needs to be used as an OEM wheel

Too bad that Mk3s are shooting up in value as well. So few left in good condition... and many in very not-good condition.

Well you're my new favorite. This is my dream car, 2JZ swapped, manual, midnight blue with all white Te37s.

While the drivetrain is mere speculation, I think we can assume it probably conforms to your dreams based on the exterior.

Nah, I plan on 2JZ swapping one and if the example I find is auto, then manual swapping it. Though yes I also really like the ‘80s A E S T H E T I C and then I'd want to paint it a dark metallic midnight blue looking thing with white TE37s

The 7M motor can handle quite a bit of power in essentially stock form. It’s been found to be almost as stout as the “coveted” 2JZ.

Just build the 7MGTE that they came with. Why swap out a perfectly good engine?

The 7M is very stout, just upgrade the HG and stud it.

How is it making quite a bit of power in essentially stock form?
Also , nearly every beater MKIII I’ve seen for sale has an blown engine. Like, I'm pretty sure I see more running Jag V12s than 7M.

It is capable of 700+ on stock internals. Upgrade the HG and add studs.
Nearly every MKIII has a blown engine because their owners were too dumb/cheap/lazy to change out the known faulty HG. Once that’s squared away, they’re a very stout engine.

Correct answer.
Especially when it makes “276 horsepower” from a twin-turbo 2.5 1JZ.
More people need to know the
2.5GT Twin Turbo R Supra exists.

HGs are really the only issue on them. Once you upgrade HGs and add studs, they can handle around 700hp.

This is a good looking example, even in stock form it has good lines, and that’s ho w you know.

I don’t typically watch the anime, but Initial D is a definite exception.
On DVD you can even just skip all the repetitive plot and condense each episode down to just five minutes of electronica and drifting.

Does anyone watch Initial D for the plot? I certainly don’t.
