Losing the big the windows is even worse than the facade.

If you look closely at the 1939 photo, it looks like those windows are at least painted over. It was likely used as a storage space. A can of white paint would go a long way on that modern facade. And that permanent awning looks pretty sketchy, too.

The older wooden wheeled sedan is interesting, could be some work to ID.

You can see a Chevy badge on the pickup parked in reverse, quick search reveals it’s a ‘ 38 model . I think the slightly more modern looking car below the word ‘ outlet’ is a ‘ 37-’38 Chevy too.

And I guess t he wood spoked car could be a mid-20's Buick. Similar c-pillar area, front door hinge placement and Buicks seem to have used mainly wood spoke wheels back then.
