My girlfriend was supposed to come up this weekend, but she had to do an emergency surgery, so instead I’m here alone. And I work all weekend. Such is life. I’ll just enjoy this lasagna.

I’m considering becoming not sober, but I was also considering firing up the PC and doing some F1 2018. Those turn out to be mutually exclusive. Drinking messes with lap times I s im race.

There are a lot of nuances with communication, and they can be difficult to detect on the internet. It can be hard to see things from someone else’s perspective , but the more you do it the better you get. The less defensive you are, the better. You do come off as both defensive and immature at times, but then I remember being 16 myself; I was a lot more immature than I am now.

As far as my problems go, they’re differnt than yours.

I feel you on that, there was a point playing any game where I go from able to play while drinking to just too drunk to play. My skills quickly diminish when I play halo with some beverages.

I have, no luck with anything lasting. I did meet this one girl that was pretty great, but it was right before I moved to Greenville. She lives in Savannah and I was not about to get into a long distance relationship.

Okay, two things here. From my observation, there is no group effort or collusion here. You sometimes make an abrasive response or comment and people respond in kind. But there is no hate group.

Second - “i’ve been controlling my reactions to no more than trying to explain myself but now not so much”. I think I said something like this to you before - You keep trying to explain your mindset to other people as if that will change their reaction. What you’re missing here is, you have no control over *their* mindset and viewpoint. And this next part is going to sound difficult/impossible but you need to consider the viewpoint of the person on the receiving end before you say something.

Example is right here: You commented on someone’s post about how they’re dri nking and are having a rough day. You also show awareness that there are people on here who don’t like you or often seem argumentative to you. So to comment about how you’re upset in that post, at that time, shows that lack of awareness of other’s viewpoints and perspectives. Hat’s off to E90M3 for responding the way he did since many people would’ve been more blunt, at best, if not actively trying to chase you out.

As an aside, and this took me a while to learn, people who try to help you learn how to interact with others on here aren’t doing so to be mean or negative. We do so to help you improve, because we think you can. You could si mply be ignored or dismissed if people truly hated you and didn’t want you here.

1) I remain convinced there is a group of certain people who rag on me on purpose, not saying this group is dedicated entirely to that but it’s a certain group of people

2)I got that already and I just gave up on doing that, I don’t explain myself anymore and don’t say much that could be taken badly, thought yesterday there was an incident where I just blew up a bit. I don’t regret it though, the person I blew up on is one of the people who like to give me hell on here, they wanna say “you have no right to tell me that at this time” same could be said when they would talk shit to me before when I’m just not in the mood or and going through something personal, on top of that it’d be unpr ovoked too. 

3) I kinda took this as a grief thread where we all say what happened in our day and that’s what happened in mine, also sort of looking to E90 for advice because he tends to deal with me better with explaining stuff when I don’t get it, although looking back yeah my timing wasn’t the greatest and I apologize to E90 for that
