This is not a push mower, but my old 6.5 hp Briggs & Stratt on just fired up yesterday after sitting for over a year, fwiw. It’s 15+ years old.

I killed a brigs the other day... It somehow got flipped turned upside down. Flipped it over, pulled it and it was hydro locked on oil. Pulled the plug and spat the oil out. Went to tighten the plug by hand and it was stripped. I got it used last season.

Now I’m shopping for electric mowers.  It’s mainly for edging and some sections I can’t get with the rider.

A KLR is a motorcycle made by Kawasaki with a big single cylinder engine that is very weak, but tough. It came in farm tractor colors and sounds like a lawn tractor.

Siiiiick. You’re gonna love the engine, at least. I don’t know anything about Bad Boy Mowers, but if they’re springing for Kawasakis instead of Briggs or Kohlers then they’re probably legit.

It’s getting delivered on Friday. Can’t wait. Big investment, but hopefully it will be trouble-free for a long, long time.

They do offer a choice of a Kohler engine (and now a Honda).

I’d take a Honda, though not over the Kawasaki . I’d probably rather have a Briggs and Stratton (or balls and scrotum as a friend of mine calls them) than a Kohler.
