Depends on the song. He’s my favorite... it’s where my S/N comes from Rainy Day Women #12 and 35. I really think he did it on purpose sometimes. His ex Joan Baez said he’d change
the timing of a song to “Fuck you up” because....he’s Bob.

The funny thing is Dylan could actually sing “ well” when he wanted to. See: Pretty Saro . He even recorded a cover of The Boxer, by Simon and Garfunkel, where he har monizes with himself using his smooth as silk Nashville Skyline voice and also his shitty nasally regular Dylan voice. He’s an interesting guy for sure

Its fun watching Bob’s band play with him because they always are watching him for cues on when he’s gonna pull shit like that. Even with guys like Charlie Sexton who has been playing with Dylan for a couple of decades. Thanks for posting this song btw, the Cutting Edge was a great release!
