SPICA’s are Japanese made. Pretty reliable.

That’s not smoke...that’s  steam.

From the steamed Alfas we’re having.

Mmm, steamed Alfas.

When not worn out, and correctly timed (hard to do, but it stays there pretty well once done), SPICA is actually an excellent, and quite reliable system. It’s at least as reliable, and in some  ways more flexible than the early electronic injection systems it competed with.

T he Quattrofoglios do seem a tad bit... what’ s the word... “temperamental ” ?

The P lain Jane ones with the 2.0t seem to do much better.

A guy I know just sold his Giulia. He's now selling the snow tires he bought for it. 200 miles total on the tires over 2 winters in northern VT because of how much time it spent in the shop.

Don’t listen to the biased media who are out to slander the good name of Alfa Romeo! They are very reliable! The biased media compares them to other new cars, but if you compare them to Alfas from the 70s you’ll see how much better the new ones are!

I saw your comment on FP regarding the Quadrofoglio, a while back.

The thing is, the 'regular' Giulia's are actually doing fine. The QF's on the other hand....

I saw an Alfa Romeo Giulia today, in use as a taxi. In Germany, in Munich, home of BMW.

The normal Giulias really are said to be fine. The QFs, I'll pass.
