I couldn't be happier with my first manual car.  Its a joy to use.

I have yet to own a legitimate manual sports car. While I’ve owned an actual manual transmission car briefly, it was to train myself for a manual F355 which never happened .

While I don’t really have the scratch for a 991.2 GT3 right now, I swear someday I will bring home a stick and 3rd pedal attached to a legendary body—hope it doesn’t disappoint.

As long as the car isn’t insanely powerful, a stick really makes any car fun to bomb around town in. I certainly enjoyed the little Ford Escort despite it being an absolute penalty box in all aspects .

4 cars purchased in my lifetime, 3 are manual and the AT example was sold in a failed practicality experiment! My extended family thinks I am crazy

Haha - I’m sure my in-laws think the same about me. In 25 years of driving, I’ve only had one automatic (not counting my wife’s cars) , and that was a beater Pathfinder that I really only used for errands.

Bravo! My wife and I feel a strange duty to make our next purchase (late summer/fall 19') a n MT car. It is vastly limiting our options and everyone seems to think you cannot drive MT with kids.

Yeah, the choices are getting slimmer & slimmer, sadly.

Looking forward to seeing what you decide.

N ice - admittedly not for everybody, you gotta really want it, but I love them. If I won the lottery I’d have one of those...

Honestly, its gotten to the point where I’m sliding every other day ... not sure if I’m miata-ing right or playing too close to the edge.
