5 am start on a Saturday ugh. The coffee isn’t working today but this is.
Hard to choose which one sounds better.

Personally I prefer the Vantage but that probably comes from only being exposed to modern racing during my life. I can’t find a video of it now but when I went to the World Challenge event at Lime Rock in 2016 there was a Vantage GT3 there listed as having a V6. I’m still not sure if that was an error in the information pamphlet or not but it was a screamer of an engine and sounded super high strung.
The Lola- Aston Martin B09/60 LMP1 is still my favorite sounding modern car. The V12 GT3 and GTE Vantages can actually trace their engine heritage back through this car to the DB9 GT1. It’s too bad it arrived at the peak of Audi and Peugeot’s diesel dominance and was only ever able to run for best of the rest status.
It’s follow up, the AMR-One, was a dumpster fire of epic proportions, completing a grand total of 102 racing laps across it’s entire racing career. When the 2 cars entered in the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans completed a total of 6 laps they gave up and went back to the B09/60 for the rest of the 2011 season. It was also hideous.
