Oh man. You people know how bad I want a 2 door Wrangler, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I really like the idea of a full size luxury vehicle. And as much as I joke about my Forte, Kia really offers good value for money. Only 32,000km/20,000 miles and looks like it is in good shape.

As I have often written in this space - if I needed a car tomorrow, what would I get? Cost no object? The Panamera shooting brake thingy, no question. Cost an object? Maybe a used Volvo C30? But I hear you - a big 4-door would really hit the spot in a number of ways. Of course, I’m stuck in Manhattan, and I will almost certainly never buy another car. But yeah - a cheap Volvo S80? I’d hate to be the one paying to fuel it up with metro Vancouver’s gas prices.

You’d have a seriously rare car though - they’ve only sold about 100 Canada-wide from 2014-2018. Even the Genesis G90 sells nearly 100 per year.
