This. That’s assuming the truck ever went much over 50mph with anything at all at anytime. It certainly looks cool, but it could easily cost more than the purchase price just to redo the hydraulic cylinder on that dump bed when you can no longer put fluid into the system fast enough to keep it going.

From my experience most trucks of this kind should be able to reach their top speed with their full GVWR, acceleration be damned. And since this should have some form of gasser Y-Block between the seats I don’t doubt this can easily outperform the 814 Benz I based my theory on .

No clue. Certainly I’ve spent more already than I could reclaim. There’s a T-5 transmission with mechanical speedometer hookup that’s worth $500 or more.
