Got new grips on the MTB and BMX today. This is also the first “mod” for my MTB. The stock grips were reeeealh bad. Super thin and one inside lock ons. This is the before

I’m not sure end cap plugs (which you can see) really deserve an exclamation point on the packaging.

I use these Ergon grips on my bike (a hybrid, so I can’t speak to how they are on a mountain bike) , and they’ve served me well:

I like those ODI’s. I wish I could check those out in person. I’m using specialized enduro grips which work well for me.

They were good grips but they don’t suit bars with lots of backsweep like mine. So the Ergon GA1  and GE1 model grips have been my go-to.

The orange ones seem very good, lots of grip and much thinker than the stock grips. I have long hands so I really wanted a meati er grip.
