So it hasn’t changed much since Top Gear filmed a special there, over a decade ago.
In 2017, it was announced that all “powered two wheelers” - mopeds, scooters and motorbikes - would be banned in the city by 2030 in an attempt to combat pollution and traffic jams.
Hahahaha, yeah see how far that gets you. It’d be more reasonable to ban 2-strokes and maybe eventually phase out older, dirtier 4-strokes on a rolling date (maybe 25 year) basis, to combat the pollution problem. The traffic problem, cars take up way more space than bikes.
