Maybe the perspective on the photo is misleading. Looks like a really high curb. One that might have an impact on ingress and egress.

Not impeding traffic, but it’s also not a high curb; I have parked there before... if my door opens so does theirs.

I think that it would make entering the driveway into the building a bit harder

I guess so. I must admit I would do some deeply disturbing things for diplomat plates. No speeding tickets, no parking tickets, no road tax.

We all should get diplomatic plates for a couple of days per year. I like the no speeding ticket part, don’t care so much about parking since I’m not in the city anymore.

Have you ever opened your door without issue, then sat down only to compress the suspension enough for the door to drag on the curb whilst pulling it closed?

If not, yo u may not be eating like a diplomat.

Basically like valet parking where you pull up to the front door of your destination .

The difference is that instead of handing the valet your keys, you just lock the car up where it’s at.

When a car is bulletproofed, the springs are changed so that the ride height isn’t effected. Also, isn’t cocaine meant to be a pretty efficient way of loosing weight?

Though the added weight of prostitutes is not accounted for.

I once saw diplomatic plates on a twenty year-old Toyota minivan at IKEA. We have a Guatemalan embassy here, so I’m guessing it was theirs.
