When it recognizes you.
My hands are peeling away thanks to chemo and now my phone won’t recognize most of my fingers. Thankfully the timeclock at work is set to use a part of my finger a little further down from the tip or I wouldn't be able to clock in. Just a new bit of daily weirdness...

Feel free to commit crimes, glove free.
Always a silver lining if you look hard enough.

Yikes. Does that hurt? I’d be struggling so much to not pick at the skin.
(I wish I still had Touch ID on my phone)

Just another reason not to use touch id!

At least you could use your passcode instead I imagine?

If I can remember what it is. The main lock into the phone isn't bad, it's just all the apps I frequently access that might be a challenge.

It’s actually not too painful of itchy, although I did scratch some skin off between my index and middle fingers and that stings a little . The trick is to stay moisturized, so I keep a big bottle of lotion near my workstation and slather it on frequently. Sometimes I do have trouble gripping things; opening bottles and jars can be painful but I have tools to help me with those tasks.
