And you claim you can't make the Whistler drive. It's only like... 50 hours one way.

It was my first thought.
Also no front plates, is Oregon a rear-only state or is the owner vouching on our ignorance?

I think Oregon is front and rear.

Hmm, sneaky owner...

I suspect vehicles above a certain value are exempt, lots of flashier things around here lack front plates and I’ll wager are never hassled.

Maybe they’d just rather pay the fine?
I know for certain that when I get a new car I will murder the dealership if they include front plate holders. they ruined my Kia’s bumper...

They probably don’t get fined. I have little doubt there are socio-economic components to the enforcement of such laws.
If the plates are required, you gotta deal with it.

I don’t remember that rear wing having been fitted to 911 Cabriolets, not even to the (rare) 911 SC ones. I think it is much older.

When the first Miata hit, so many of them drove around with plates bilborded to the front . Was murder to look at. That’s when I was in High School and I was convinced the US had garbage license plates. Could a state have anything like what Euro plated have? thin wide style?
