shit, if you were in Michigan I work with a guy who makes a hobby/side business out of restoring BSAs, Nortons, Triumphs, etc. he’d be able to point you in the right direction for anything.

Wow, that is a pretty bike. Should be pretty simple mechanically electrically, but of course you want to make sure it is right before you zip around on it. No idea about parts, find an online forum, often there is a guy that has half a dozen parts bikes sitting around and can help out.

step one, pull carbs and blast carb cleaner/compressed air through it.
step 2, get tires from the past 3 years on it
step 3: ride, relaize it has the fucked up clutch/front brake reversal thing going on, nearly put it into the wall.
step 4: realize THATS why your father in law gave it to you

Bingo

No compressed air in the carbs unless/until you have removed the diaphragm in there.

most bootiful english bike ever in my book, that tank, and that engine!

I know! T hat chrome tank is just sexiness incarnate. We will see about the engine. Supposedly it turns over and has good compression so I'm optimistic

Oh what I’d do to have that thing, congrats!
