Nah, though there was a little motion detectable in the right one. Actually replaced both, but kept hearing noise from the left, which spun freely and still felt reasonably tight... which is why I’m alleging I’m amazed the fix worked. Pessimism. Knowing the left rear was due but not being certain it was the cause, despite most other options being off the table.

I neglected to mention, these rear wheel bearings also have over a hundred thousand miles on them, so the age and mileage were both suggestive.
